Puttin' on the Blitz
Created for an extract from "A Paradise Built in Hell printed in Stir magazine, this piece looks at the ways in which ordinary Londoners, despite the worst expectations of the government, exercised an astonishing level of mutual aid and support during the Blitz bombings. Through the experience, many people gained a newfound faith in themselves and those around them.
Created as a 4 colour reduction linocut print.
